Dr. Albert Pannone is a lifelong learner, passionate about the science of movement.

Albert Pannone, PT, DPT, OCS, CFMT, ATC is a licensed Physical Therapist, licensed Athletic Trainer and Owner of Synaptic Physical Therapy. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chatham University in 2014. He completed a residency with the Institute of Physical Art in Functional Manual Therapy in 2019 and became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist in 2020. He became a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2022. Albert is fully licensed in Virginia and treats patients within a 15 mile radius of Centreville, Virginia.
He’s passionate about the art and science of movement and loves helping patients make connections between mind and body to achieve their goals. Albert believes that by understanding the connections in the body as well as in the mind, we can treat and manage pain and improve function. He uses a goal oriented approach with an eclectic skill set to help patients move better.
Albert works with patients of all ages, and a wide variety of conditions. He believes in finding the root cause of movement dysfunction and treating it from the source. He utilizes Functional Manual Therapy, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, dry needling, joint mobilization/manipulation, and corrective exercise. He can also provide Graded Motor Imagery programs and Therapeutic Pain Neuroscience Education to help patients with persistent pain.
When he’s not treating patients, Albert can most often be found enjoying the latest superhero movies with his wife & children, reading, or gaming with friends.
Dr. Marina Youssef is passionate about creating access to knowledge about pelvic & women’s health.

Marina Youssef, PT, DPT, RYT is a licensed Physical Therapist and a registered yoga teacher. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2019. She completed the foundational course work through the American Physical Therapy Association to become a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist in 2020 and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2022. Marina is fully licensed in Virginia and Washington, D.C. She treats patients within a 15 mile radius of Fairfax, Virginia as well as Washington, D.C.
Marina is passionate about creating access to the knowledge she has about pelvic and women’s health in order to help individuals find healing and joy through their bodies. Marina feels that in all realms of life, but especially in physical therapy, knowledge is power. By understanding how our bodies work, individuals can independently maintain long term therapeutic gains in remaining pain free, strong, and mobile.
Marina treats female pelvic floor dysfunctions that include pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunctions and is especially passionate about serving the pre, peri, and postpartum individual. She is passionate about supporting new mothers and parents by meeting them where they are at and utilizing manual interventions, therapeutic exercise, breath work, and yoga to restore optimal function of your pelvic floor.
When she is not treating patients, Marina can be found either teaching or practicing yoga, riding her peloton, spending time with her sisters and cat, reading, and traveling.

Dr. Kelly Wilson PT, DPT is a licensed Physical Therapist. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2012. She has experience treating collegiate, semi-professional, and professional athletes. Kelly is fully licensed in Virginia and treats patients within a 15 mile radius of Arlington & Alexandria, Virginia.
Kelly aims to revolutionize a patient’s physical therapy experience by integrating the best of biomechanics, personalized treatments, and lifestyle medicine. She seeks to optimize health and vibrant movement through customized therapies and a holistic approach. Additionally, she works to empower patients to embrace a lifestyle that enhances their overall wellbeing, incorporating nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and restorative sleep. With collaboration and shared decision-making, Kelly creates an empowering environment where patients play a vital role in their healing journey.
Kelly is passionate about optimizing the performance of athletes, the treatment of sports injuries and rehabilitation related to sports recovery. She enjoys working with athletes preparing to compete in triathlons & ultramarathons as well as team sports. She brings over 11 years of experience in treating vestibular dysfunction, dry needling, concussion management, myofascial treatment, and orthopedic recovery.
Kelly loves all things outdoors – you can find her hiking, camping, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and traveling.

Christina Pannone is the Co-Owner & Practice Manager of Synaptic Physical Therapy. Christina is passionate about small businesses and access to high quality healthcare. She started Synaptic Physical Therapy with her husband Albert in 2021.
While Albert takes the lead with all things patient care, Christina handles everything behind the scenes – from clinic scheduling & admin, to web design and marketing. When she’s not working at Synaptic, she is working in her other businesses Knieriem Designs & KD Social or spending time with her three children.
